I have a range of experience with different forms of media, whatever form it comes in. This includes, but is not limited to: live broadcasting, AV recording/editing, AV setups, lighting techniques, scripting, storyboarding, etc. I am also well versed in a variety of soft/hardware used in the production of the various forms media can take
I was fortunate enough to receive technical experience and education in Multimedia & Film Production from Georgia Southern University, which has an imense history of producing talent in the "Production" sphere of work. After gaining exceptional experience in various fields listed above, I was given the opportunity to put my skills to use practically instead of just in a class setting
Before even being "formally" educated, I was always interested in "filmmaking," or as close to it as a middle or high school student can with a basic camera and video software. Fortunately, I have expanded upon that interest and the knowledge gained from my education. My current position as a Newscast Director allows me to construct a live broadcast alongside coworkers for 3 hours of programming. This includes: editing voiceovers (VO), constructing visual aids (generic info Graphics), interviews or quotes (SOTs), etc.

In this line of work, the "ware" used is key. Thankfully, if you know one system extremely well, the others become much easier to learn. Adobe, Final Cut, Avid, MovieMaker, etc. etc. They have their differences, but the same functions can be done with all of them. I am primarily trained with Adobe Creative Cloud systems (PremierePro/Audition), but also have experience with Apple equivalents (iMovie, GarageBand, FinalCut, etc.), as well as some Avid/MediaCentral systems (thank you TV broadcasting)
This is, perhaps, the area in which I have the least confidence, but budding potential. In general, I've never been a practitioner of the written word; however, I've always enjoyed fiction and storytelling as that is the general purpose behind any media. Currently, I am working on expanding my repertoire with short stories, aka pulp fiction, writing prompts, and hopefully, when the time comes, an entire novel. The benefits of such a task is an expanded creative output that will also improve storyboarding and script writing for things such as audio dramas, commercial submissions, or any other production where a basic script/idea may be needed
